In 2013, Preventable partnered with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) for Canada’s launch of North American Occupational Safety and Health Week. This annual campaign promotes successful and safe workdays for all Canadians.
The focus of this campaign was to ask, “Are you as safe as you think?” We wanted to remind you that most “accidents” you can see coming. And we did this in a big way. We suspended a grand piano in midair and prompted people to look up. This visual spectacle reminded everyone that we can stop injuries before they happen.
Taking a moment to have a word with yourself and changing your attitudes and beliefs could prevent a serious injury.
