Using a ladder improperly and reaching just a little too far can cause serious injuries. This is especially true around the holidays.
So in 2010, as a reminder to think before hanging up lights, we created a billboard that highlights the potential danger head on.
Displayed at high-traffic locations in downtown Vancouver and on Vancouver Island, the billboard showed a string of lights left hanging loose, giving the impression that someone has fallen off the ladder.
